Red Shield 8 Nations is creating a tribally driven healing center outside of Great Falls, MT. The first-of-its-kind center is a sustainable, long-term solution to close persistent gaps in culturally grounded care for Native people. This collaborative, multi-tribal approach stands apart from state-run or private models because the Tribal Nations run it, ensuring it reflects the diversity, strengths, values, and effective practices of Indigenous peoples.
Located in central Montana, this 32-bed substance use disorder treatment center will offer ASAM Level 3.5 and 3.7 residential care. This centrally located center meets a critical need for American Indian adults by using a unique system of care approach that integrates culture, clinical care, family, and community.
In serving our “relatives,” we honor the deep connections that unite our communities and reflect a holistic approach to healing. Red Shield 8 Nations exists to unite and strengthen our communities for generations to come.
